The Ramadan Relief Package is an initiative of the Government of Pakistan to provide financial aid to families who are in need in the month of Ramadan. In this year’s Ramadan, the Government launched an innovative SMS registration system that allows people who are eligible to apply at their home. As part of this program, each eligible household will be eligible to receive PKR 5,000 in cash relief. Additionally, the Punjab government will also provide an additional PKR 10,000 cash reward in a separate program.
