Prime Minister IT Training Program Duration
The PM High Impact IT Training Program’s duration is three months. The IT Training program will be conducted at the Ghulam Ishaq Khan IT Center in Islamabad. Ghulam Ishaq Khan IT Center Islamabad. Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology (GIKI) has created the IT Training Centre in Islamabad in conjunction with the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training and NAVTTC to offer IT training for youth without jobs as part of the prime minister’s High Impact Technology Initiative. This Data Center has state-of-the-art facilities, including an advanced firewall and routers with high-end technology, a central switch, and a power backup system using UPS and a generator for power.
Who can apply for the High Impact IT Training Program?
GIK Institute has acquired the Internet bandwidth from two distinct service providers, specifically, PERN, Pakistan Education & Research Network (PERN), and PTCL. PERN offers fast Internet and intranet services for the GIK Institute. The intranet service offers the HEC Digital Library, which assists students with their academic and research activities. PERN offers a capacity of 500 Mbps, and PTCL provides 300 Mbps. Candidates who meet the following requirements can apply for the PM High Impact IT Training Program 2025.
- Education: BS or higher in computer science, Engineering, Math, statistics, or similar technology fields.
- Age Limits: 18-40 Years.
- Notice: Students in the 7th semester can also apply for this program.
