Punjab Weapons License Online Application Portal 2024 is announced today 05 February 2024 by the government of Punjab. The caretaker Punjab government headed by CM Mohsin Naqvi reached another milestone by eliminating corruption in the process of granting licenses for arms and making the process online for transparency. The Provincial Home Department and the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) have agreed to establish the Punjab Arms License Management System (PALMS). It was officially launched on the PALMS portal was officially launched by Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi.

Punjab Weapons License Online Application Portal 2024 is announced today 05 February 2024. To launch the Punjab Arms License Management System (PALMS), the provincial Home Department and the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) have signed a deal to establish an Online Weapons License website. The Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has officially launched the PALMS site. In addition, this portal will allow for weapons licenses to be renewed across Punjab and provide an efficient method of transferring licenses to their heirs electronically. After PALMS launches, applicants will be able to pick up the licenses they need at their doorstep. As per Mohsin Naqvi, the implementation of the system will allow for the possibility of complete elimination of corruption within the process of licensing.
Punjab Arms License Portal 2024
The Chief of Staff for the interim government in Punjab Mohsin Naqvi announced “the Punjab arms license management system to manage arms licenses within Punjab”.According to the specifics, the agreement on the issuance of online arm licenses took place through the Interior Ministry of Punjab and the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA). The new portal permits renewal and the issue of arms licences online. The portal online will also permit transfers of licenses in the name of another.

The Chief Minister thanked the Additional Secretary Farwa Aamir and Home Secretary Mian Shakeel Ahmed for their contributions to the online portal for firearms licenses’ inauguration. He was also pleased with the introduction of the automated gun licensing system. The Punjabi government as well as the Interior Secretary, as well as the DG NADRA, signed the relevant agreement. Attendees at the ceremony included the Chief Secretary Home Secretary, Director General Nadra Sohail Jahangir, Director of Arms Nadra as well as other relevant officials.
