State Bank of Pakistan SBP Art Competition 2024 is announced today 30 January 2024. State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has announced the Art Competition for new banknote design. The Art Competition is organized to bring together creative and thematic ideas for the banknotes of the future. Local designers, artists, and students of art can present their ideas for design and be awarded prizes. The prizes will be given to the 3 best winners designs. Themes that will be considered for designs include identity and culture as well as demographic diversity as well as climate change, environment protection natural landscapes, economic development architecture, heritage, and national symbols.

The State Bank of Pakistan SBP Art Competition 2024 is announced on the 30th of January 2024. The SBP has launched an art competition to present innovative and theme-based design ideas for the new series of banknotes in the initial design phase. On March 11, 2024, local artists, designers, and art students can submit their ideas to SBP. Cash awards will be for the top three designs of each of the seven current denominations.

ART COMPETITION FOR NEW BANKNOTE DESIGNS
The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has initiated the process for the issuance of a new banknote series. To have
innovative and thematic design ideas for the new series of banknotes, an Art Competition is being
organized. The local artists, designers, and art students/designers are eligible to participate in the Art
Competition. The participants may develop the designs on the themes, including but not limited to,
social and cultural identities, demographic diversity, climate change and environment protection,
economic development, natural landscapes, architectural heritage, and national symbols. The artists are
expected to come up with novel designs and ideas. The designs should be submitted to the Director,
Finance Department, State Bank of Pakistan, I.I. Chundrigar Road, Karachi, by 11th March 2024.

SBP Term and Conditions
- Submit designs for seven denominations or fewer (Rs. 10, 20, 50, 100, 500, 1000, and 5000).
- Hard copy of new designs on white paper with a brief (up to 100 words) explanation in English or Urdu.
Each denomination must have unique colors. - The jury will pick the top six for each and then SBP will select the top 3.
- 1st winner Prize: Rs.1,000,000/-
- 2nd winner Prize: Rs.500,000/-
- 3rd winner Prize: Rs.300,000/-
- Designs have to be free of copyright.
- Ineligible: Jury members, SBP employees, and family.
- Submitted designs are SBP’s property, shareable, or modifiable without extra compensation.
