HEC Indigenous Scholarship Last Date
Three years in the making, Punjab HEC would grant an annual stipend of PKR 100,000 to selected PhD students in science and technology. The same amount would be PKR50,000 for social and human sciences. The applications must be made on or before January 28th, 2023.
Eligibility Criteria for HEC Indigenous Scholarship 2024
- Hold domicile from any district of the Punjab,
- Hold an MS/MPhil degree from a foreign/local university with no 3rd division or grade D in my entire academic career.
- Have NOC and approved study leave from the parent department if employed 5. Be a maximum of 40 years of age (45-year age limit for females) on the closing date.
- The scholarship is meant only for three years, and during the continuance of PhD, the awardee shall not join any other job.
- The awardee shall seek admission in any public/private sector university of Punjab within 9 months after the award of the scholarship letter.
- Candidates in the Science and technology category must submit a financial support letter from the industry, demonstrating financial support of a minimum of Rs. 10,000 per month.
